HVAC Design Engineer
We are presently conducting a search for a mechanical design engineer. This is an excellant opportunity as UMI is one of the leading design/build contractors in the Silicon Valley, serving a variety of both markets and clients. We encourage a fast-paced work environment with dynamic designs to suit our client’s needs. In return we offer excellant compensation for the hard work that is required of our employees.
This opportunity is a full-time position with excellant benefits from your first day of employment.
The successful candidate will have following credentials:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 to 5 years experience in performing HVAC system design to include design calculations, equipment selection, and design layout
- Experience with LEED accreditation a plus
- Proficient in both AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
- Previous experience with large, technically complex projects is a plus
- Confident interacting with clients of all levels, from construction personnel to executive management
