Christmas 2007

This year United Mechanical had the honor of working with the Bill Wilson Center over the holidays. The Bill Wilson Center supports and strengthens the community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education, and advocacy.

The Transitional Housing Program provides comprehensive services for homeless youth (age 16-22) including young parents and their infants. This program offers long-term shelter, independent living skills training, job readiness skills and counseling. It also offers parenting skills for the young mothers.

On December 17th 2007 we visited one of the transitional houses to celebrate the holidays with the teenage girls and their children. We were able to provide the girls with a holiday feast, a tree full of presents for everyone, and a little well deserved pampering. United Mechanical was grateful to have the opportunity to help these wonderful young ladies. We wish them the best of luck in their future!

Children’s Shelter Association of Santa Clara

The Children’s Shelter Association of Santa Clara is a non profit organization which houses children who have been removed from or abandoned by their families.

In 2007 the employees & their families of United Mechanical donated Christmas gifts to the Operation Santa program. We are committed to helping the families & children in our community who need a little extra assistance during the holiday season to bring the magic back into their lives.
